Health Education England in North West London funded AHS to lead the development of a partnership in innovation and education (PIE) focused on enhancing the knowledge and skills of the health and social care workforce to be able to support those with both mental and physical ill health.
Health Education Thames Valley commissioned AHS to develop a detailed knowledge of the local Allied Health Professional (AHP) and Healthcare Scientist (HCS) workforce and their contribution to the local services. Two conferences were held, one for AHPs and one for HCS workforce across the Thames Valley in 2015.
Health Education Wessex commissioned AHS to develop a sustainable AHP network. This included planning and delivering an AHP conference held for AHPs in Wessex in 2015.
The scope of this Community Education Provider Network (CEPN), funded by Health Education England North West London, was to enhance the confidence, capacity and capability of the Allied Health Professions (AHPs) across the registered and the associated unregistered workforce to lead care for patients at risk of falls.

Health Education England South London (HEE SL), awarded Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust strategic investment funding, to deliver a project about supporting the health and social care workforce to manage those with long term conditions in community settings.
AHS remains working with Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust and other partners and has designed and delivered six cohorts to date of a ‘Supporting those with long term conditions Level 4 module for the support workforce and newly qualified healthcare professionals across health and social care.
